  1. Something new…

As you guys know our online store Project Sunday was launched a few weeks ago and now it’s time to announce the official Project Sunday blog!!

    Hi!

It’s been a few weeks since I’ve posted something new but don’t worry! I’ve come back to you with some big news!

We’ve decided to incorporate our blog straight into our website, this way you won’t have to jump back and forth between our lovely tumblr blog and our actual website.

A big thank you to tumblr, you have helped us more then you realise and a BIG thank you to those who have followed our blog since it started.

Whilst this is sort of a little goodbye, it’s more of a celebration as you can continue to follow Project Sunday’s progress through our website blog. We’ll continue talking about PS as well as many other fashion related topics like fashion trends, fashion industry news, styling tips, celebrity style and hopefully we can start to post photos up of our own personal style.

Thank you for your support and please continue to support us as we move to something a little more different.

Signing out - Cammy & Aaron

  4. Project Sunday loves…

Bombay Bicycle Club - Your eyes

This is the song I’m currently listening to whilst loading our product photos onto the site, a long and seemingly endless task! But still fun.

  7. A new addition to our Project Sunday collage collection, but this time it’s Project Sunday Style.
What you’ll see is a round up of a few pieces from our Spring/Summer collection which will be debuting in the coming weeks. We’ve pieced together our idea of a perfect spring/summer day which includes riding around town in a sweet vespa, hypnotised by a good read or the soothing sound of an acoustic guitar then off into the sunset to enjoy a cup of tea, hummingbird cupcake and the joys of expressing thoughts onto paper.
We hope you’re all as excited as we are about the up and coming launch!!
Sign up to the mailing list and we’ll let you know exactly when the Project Sunday online store will be officially launching.
Until next time - the team at Project Sunday

  8. Comme Des Garcons spring 2012 collection

In true Comme Des Garcon spirit the new Spring 2012 collection evoked not only a sense of incredulity at the brilliant craftsmanship behind the design team but also a reminder that fashion is more than just clothes, it’s about evoking emotion, memory and making a statement.

In my opinion Rei Kawabuko’s collection titled ‘White Drama’ is the epitome of fusion. She was able to infuse her knowledge of fine arts and literature through the use of couture like construction with the evolution of life and fashion. The collection seemed to show the evolution of women throughout the ages from the restriction of the large bows bounding the models arms together through to the long voluminous coats and petticoat dresses which for me expressed a sense of freedom and movement. I’m still in awe at the beautiful tailoring and embroidery on every garment and inspired by the truly artistic talent of Rei Kawabuko.

The collection will be available in stores February 2012.

  9. 6 days to go…

So the time has finally come with our first photo shoot being held on Sunday!! I’m extremely nervous but confident in everyone’s ability to make the shoot go smoothly.

Aaron and I still have so much work to do!! But no fear!! We’ll have everything ready by then.

I’ll be sure to take some photos of the Project Sunday team frantically running around and post it up for you guys to see. Most likely it will be Aaron taking the photos since I’ll be running around like a crazy person trying to get the outfits perfect on Georgia (our lovely model) and coordinating for our make up artist Amy.

Stay tuned for some more updates and Project Sunday news.

    Project Sunday Team - Cammy
